Hotel

The Vdara at Aria is my favorite place to stay in Las Vegas. This hotel does not have a casino but there are plenty of hotels near here with casinos. There are also not any nightclubs in the Vdara but plenty nearby. I feel like because there are no casinos and nightclubs that this makes the Vdara much calmer. You don’t get a lot of people wandering around the hotel, just guests. There is a simple walkway to Bellagio. The Cosmopolitan is a 5-minute walk just outside the lobby and down the stairs. This hotel is a part of the Aria and they share a driveway so that walk is the easiest. Plus, the tram station makes it easy to get further down the strip for even more access to more hotels.

The Vdara hotel is a Dog-Friendly hotel. I am always looking for a nice dog-friendly. I like to take my dog Halston anywhere I can. He is not a therapy dog so we did have to pay a fee but it is totally worth it! There is a dog park outside of the lobby. Vice Versa is a restaurant and bar in the lobby that is dog-friendly. The front desk also provided us with a small list of dog-friendly restaurants near the hotel.

The only way to deal with that hot desert heat is to rent a Pool CabanaThe pool at the Vdara is not your average Las Vegas pool. There are a few different options when it comes to making plans for a pool day here. There is one main pool with chairs and umbrellas or there are a couple of smaller pools only accessible by renting a cabana. I always book the “escape cabanas” because they are the most low key. I love the idea of guaranteed shade with a plunge pool to cool off. While all of the food is really good, my favorite item on the menu is the “not your average fruit salad”. This is fruit that has been soaked in vodka and served in a hollowed-out watermelon. It is so delicious!

Fun at the Hotel

This was my first visit to the Spa at Vdara.  We arrived about an hour before our appointment to make sure we were relaxed and had time pre-massage steam. I spent my time in the wet room steaming and sat back and relaxed in one of the warming stone chairs. Then it was time for our 80-minute couples massage. This was so relaxing. This is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recover from the weekend.

One of the coolest things about the Vdara is that they have two Delivery Robots. You can make orders through a tablet in the suite. Unfortunately, you cannot order Starbucks from robots but you can get coffee and tea, along with many other items. These are the cutest robots! They amaze me every time. If you give them a good rating they will do a little dance in front of your door.

Along with two options to get food and drinks, there is also Starbucks at the Vdara. You can order from a tablet in the room to skip the wait. I don’t normally drink coffee but every so often I like to treat myself to a latte.

Food

I love breakfast in bed when on vacation. Every room at the Vdara is a suite with a kitchenette and table. You can order Room Service at Vdara from a tablet in the room. You can also have drinks delivered to your room. I always have a bottle of Veuve Cliquot to our room and keep it chilled in the refrigerator.

TheMarket Cafe at Vdara is located in the lobby of the hotel. They offer food and select grocery items. We always stop in here to get our wine to drink in the room. Not to mention the fact that they sell Veuve Cliquot yellow label in two sizes!! I also stop in here frequently for bottles of water. It is easy to get dehydrated in Las Vegas due to the dry heat so it is important to remember to drink water.

Beauty and Essex in Cosmopolitan is a fun speakeasy located behind a pawn shop. delicious food. noise level is high. there is also a bar. staff offered us access to a nightclub without the wait but we were going somewhere else. One of the best parts for me was the Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label by the glass.

Prime Steakhouse in Bellagio offers the best view of the fountains at The Bellagio. We were able to get patio seating. The patio is directly behind the fountains. The food here is so amazing. They offer great food by chef Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. We ordered steaks and shareable sides. After the meal, we had a delicious strawberry shortcake dessert. The fountain show is every 30 minutes and there is nothing like seeing it from this patio. I stayed on theme by ordering Veuve Clicquot by the glass.

Our first meal in Las Vegas is  Mr. Chow in Caesar’s Palace. I always like to make it in time for the “noodle show”. The 8 0clock noodle show is a showcase of how the noodles are made by hand. There is a champagne cart offering a great selection of champagne. Dom Perignon is the signature drink (by the glass) and they also sell Veuve Cliquot by the glass. There is also a dessert cart and we chose the cheesecake.

Bars

Vice Versa Patio and Bar is located in the lobby of the hotel. They serve lunch dinner and weekend brunch. There is also a lighter menu for the hours in between. We had snacks and a drink before shopping at the Shops at Crystals. The patio is dog-Friendly. I was happy to see that they served  Veuve Cliquot by the glass. This is a great place to escape the chaos of Las Vegas.

One of my favorite bars in Las Vegas is the Chandelier Bar in cosmopolitan. This is such a neat bar. This multi-level bar offers a lot of places to sit. This bar also serves as an art installation. There are so many crystals that went into the design of this bar. It is beautiful. I ordered Veuve Clicquot by the glass, of course.

Fun in Vegas

The Neon Museum is one of the coolest things I have done while in Las Vegas. It is located on the other side of Vegas so we took an uber. This place was really really cool. This museum is made up of old signs from casinos, theaters, and hotels. I really want to go back at night right after sunset.

The Shops at Crystals    D&G.   Louis Vuitton.  Prada. Hermes. Dior Celine

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden  is always something fun to see while in Las Vegas. This display is 14,000 square feet of floral art. The design changes seasonally so it is usually different every time I go. I love to take a quick walkthrough on my way out.
