Hotel
Halcyon Cherry Creek is a boutique hotel located in the upscale neighborhood of Cherry Creek. There are so many personal touches that make you feel at home like the water and tea stations on every floor by the elevators. I found the decor to be so unique and very cool. Ther are record players in every room and record library in the lobby where you can check out more records for listening. The gear garage offers bikes and other things to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Denver. Every day they host a happy hour in the lobby with wines and snacks.
Rooftop Pool There are cabana rentals available through the hotel. You can order food offered from the restaurant downstairs. There is also a drink selection from the restaurant until the bar opens on the rooftop later in the afternoon and weekends. There is a water station just inside the hotel next to the stairs. This rooftop is a great place to enjoy the beautiful view of Denver.
Cabana rental includes the food and beverages tab and you can rent by day or night.
Restaurants
Quality Italian is a new version of the classic Italian steakhouse. The restaurant is located next to the hotel on the ground level. They offer delicious steaks and Italian favorites and a raw bar. The bar has a range of cocktails and a great selection of wines.
C.C.Kitchen.245 is an American food restaurant. It is located next to the hotel with an in the hotel. also served at the rooftop pool. Turkey BLT was so amazing that I ordered it again at the pool. ( Sandwich pictured below) **I believe this restaurant has now closed**
Uchi Denver is a contemporary Japanese restaurant. The menu offers delicious sushi and many nonfish options. Uchi originated in Austin so we wanted to check it out and see if they had the same menu or different things we haven’t had a chance to try.
Cherry Cricket is a great place to grab burgers and a drink or watch a game. This
California Pizza Kitchen sometimes you just want something familiar. I tend to do this a lot. I am usually in a shopping center and realize that I am hungry and when I see CPK I go there. The Kung Pao Spaghetti is one of my favorite meals ever.
True Food Kitchen is a neat restaurant with healthy options and fun drinks. This restaurant is another familiar place. It can be hard to find healthy options when traveling and True Food Kitchen is great and also has great locations.
Bars
B and GC is an underground bar in the alley behind the Halcyon Hotel. You will need to make reservations and it is a very small bar. They will make custom cocktails for you when you tell them what you like to drink. This is my favorite bar …possibly ever!
Elevated Rooftop Bar. located at the rooftop pool that is open at night. I have not spent much time at this bar but it seems like it gets really fun when its warm out!!
Shopping
Cherry Creek Shopping Center just a few blocks from the hotel. great selection of shops and restaurants. I always like to walk over here and check out what I can find.
Nordstrom I like to go to this Nordstrom because is has a lot more options than our Nordstrom in Austin. This location offers High-end selection on shoes and handbags! Not all Nordstroms do.
Neiman Marcus is my all-time favorite department store. They carry a lot of high-end labels and Contemporary as well.
Louis Vuitton is my favorite brand. I always go to the local LV store when traveling because some stores have different items that are not sold at other locations.
